What a special boy!

Nathan has lived with a loving foster family since birth. He has never lived in an orphanage. He is well attached to his foster family, but needs a FOREVER family of his own. He is completely healthy, active and doing very well. He is learning to feed himself with a spoon. He walks, saying some basic sounds and beginning words. He loves to play games, enjoys music and taking baths. He is very friendly with all people, even strangers. He lives in a house with foster siblings, so he is used to being around other children.

From a staff member who visited Nathan’s social worker in April 2010: I did not get to see Nathan, but did talk at length to his social worker. She indicated that Nathan is doing very well. He is a happy child that is doing well physically and emotionally. Nathan’s birth mother is involved in his life and visits with him twice a month. She provided photos of Nathan with hopes that RR can find him a forever family. She loves him dearly but is not in a position to care for him. She has indicated that she would like to receive updates on Nathan from his adopting family. Nathan’s social worker is very motivated to find a permanent family for him so that he never has to spend a single day in an orphanage or institution.

Nathan is already cleared for international adoption and can be adopted very quickly!
