A month without caffeine

No more Diet Coke. No more morning Starbucks. Nothing but water, or cranberry water, for the past month. My kids are in shock. My body is probably in greater shock, because it now craves, unbelievably enough, WATER. Weird.

This caffeine fast was prompted by a diet I have been on for three weeks. An evil diet that demands no caffeine or alcohol. Now I am by no means a big drinker, but I sure was enjoying my nightly glass of cabernet sauvignon. No more. I'm still craving water! The good news is that my stomach seems to be retreating, but my thighs are staging a pitched battle to remain thunderous. I'm fighting the good fight, though.

If I ever actually find and purchase a scale, I'll let you know how things are progressing. Accountability, ya know.

My friend,

I really can't believe that you've betrayed me like this. I thought we were Diet Coke kindred spirits. :(

No really, good for you. You've inspired me. Check out my blog!

Jill, Wow...No Diet Coke or Starbucks! I am so totally impressed!!! I think about doing that every once in awhile, but can't figure out how to start...so I never do. And "craving water"...that is an interesting concept! You never cease to amaze or impress me! :)
