If you look carefully you can see light colored flecks in Emma's sweet eyes. Those are called Brushfield spots and are one of the signs of Down Syndrome. I think they're a sign of beauty!
I just read Emma's story, Jill. Wow. What a journey the Lord took you on to Emma, and what a journey He has taken you on since! I love the way He prepared your heart for Emma so many years before her birth . . . and then how He used Emma to grow your flock in such a beautiful way!
